Entrying Spain?

We are so confused about entering Spain now - has anyone in Dec (since new variant) entered Spain with a child 12-15 with only one vaccine or only having had covid? Our hotel has sent us one link saying this is OK - the Uk government website indicates two vaccines needed. I am so confused!

Googling suggests those over 12 need 2 doses of vaccine to be allowed entry to Spain

An unvaccinated (or having had just one vax, of a two vax regime) over 12 cannot enter Spain from UK, as of Dec 1. This also says that recovery certs are not accepted from UK (they are from the EU, which is where the confusion might arise).

Your hotel have it wrong, with regards to entrants from the UK.

Yes accept that UK website takes us to the same website our Spain hotel gave us - its the Spanish government health website - and if we follow the links it basically says the UK has been allowed to be in in the European Covid Travel certificate scheme - which states a negative PCR test is OK and no need for two vaccines.

Incase anyone else is unsure about their spain trip - the Spanish embassy in the UK have posted a letter saying brits must have two vaccinations.
