Get booster or wait - WWYD?

I'm booked in to have my booster this weekend. I booked the appointment a couple of weeks ago. However, I've had a dreadful cold for over a week now. I know it's not covid (negative lfts and pcr) but I'm a bit worried about having the jab while I'm ill.
For reference, I had awful side effects from my 2nd Pfizer jab and had to have 2 days off work.

The worst of your cold should certainly be over by the weekend. Most people have said it's one dose in particularly they've felt rough with. In your circumstances I certainly wouldn't be cancelling it, better to feel a bit rough now, rather than get covid (especially as two doses gives you very little protection).

I wouldn't wait. It might be next year before you get to rebook.

have the booster.
We booked ours ages ago for next week and I know people are struggling to get appointments now and walk in queues are crazy.

I had five weeks off work with covid. I wouldn’t wait for the booster.

Thanks, I'll get it done. Just worried about having any more time off
