Are CV 17yo eligible for booster?

As the title, my 17yo had his second vaccination in May (because of asthma). A few weeks ago I managed to book him a booster for today. I haven't heard anything about this age group getting boosters, though, and the text confirmation just said 'dose', where mine said 'booster dose', which makes me wonder if he will end up queuing for 2hrs only to be turned away. Does anyone have any more info? In the interests of full disclosure I think his original eligibility was a happy accident and he isn't actually CV - he hasn't actually used an inhaler in about three years, although he was previously prescribed a brown one in addition to the blue - so it's not a matter of absolute urgency afaik...

They should if themselves CV/CEV or if they are household of the severely immunesuppressed (and possibly young carers)

But (from bitter experience) I know it does not always run according to plan (my qualifying teen been turned away on the day for a properly booked jab)

I think you don't have a better option than turning up and hoping fir the best

Thanks @nether. We turned up but the queue was so long (at least three hours) we just went home 🙄
