Normal? Been hardly been able to get an app or speak to a doctor in the last 21 months 😅 I got a positive result over the weekend and a phone call from the doctor today asking if I was okay and not breathless - I am fine!

Dp tested positive last weekend and no phone call.

So is this normal? Could there be a reason. I'm an unpaid carer for my son who has sen and had vaccine early but had to cancel booster due to covid. Also have some health issues but none that have deemed me vulnerable to covid!

Anyone else had this?

A friend had that because she was over 60 with mild raised blood pressure. The GP organised a pulseoxymeter for her. I haven't heard of anyone else though.

Hmm.. I am 30! I have had issues in the past with elevated but not high bp but I've never been on medication for it! Doctors don't even keep an eye on it but I do record my bp from time to time at home!

I wasn't offered one of them. I did say I'm really
Bunged up and struggling to breathe through my nose which in turn is making my breathing a bit heavy but definitely not short of breath!

Are you registered as a carer? Maybe they need to know the person you care for isn't left vulnerable and abandoned due to your illness.

This is a possibility as Ds has sen and I was invited to vaccine early due to this!

We call all positive patients within 48 hours where possible, to make sure they’re ok and can cope at home. Its all part of a Covid at Home programme we have running.

This is even more important for carers and anyone especially vulnerable. Some need some home monitoring equipment such as pulse oximetry, and others need a visit.
