My first 2 jabs really effected my periods and I'm due to have my booster on Wednesday and I am just concerned that it is going to effect me again :(

Wondered what others experiences are?

I have pcos so periods are a bloomin nightmare as they are!

it did after my primary Astra Zeneca but not after moderna booster. I missed 2 periods

I had Pfizer for first two doses and both times I had delayed, most painful periods of my life. I was in so much agony my husband wanted to take me to A&E.

I've not decided whether to get the booster yet, if it's the same effect then I don't think I want it.

Ahhh sorry to here that @stitchmaker85 !!

I will go ahead and have it regardless I think because although it caused me a lot of issues I wasn't effected in a which effected my overall health. I just wanted to try and mentally prepare myself.

My first 2 jabs were pfizer, I wonder what my third will be!

I had 2 AZ, and Pfizer booster. After my booster I had a heavier period than what is normal for me. My menstrual cycle is never regular, so I can only speak on how heavy it was. And it came maybe a week or so after my booster.

My period started last night so I am concerned this may be a long cycle!! (Normally around 49 days anyway 😰)

I had my booster a week and a half ago (AZ first two, Pfizer booster). Got period 2 days later, not unexpected timing, but it's still hanging around several days after it would usually have finished. It's quite annoying!

I had insanely frequent periods after the vaccine, really painful and unpredictable. Finally improving now so I won’t be having the booster Sad

I'm in peri menopause and noticed slightly unexpected hormonal fluctuations, spotting, bleeds etc which appeared to coincide with both jabs and with the booster. But of course since peri is making everything fluctuate I can't say whether the jabs have affected me in that way or not.

Yes - all three jabs made my following cycle up to four days shorter.

The fertility nurse told me they think it’s something to do with the immune response.
