App saying to isolate for 11days…

Just out of interest, does anyone know why this might be? Did two positive LFTs today, went for a PCR afterwards. Inputted my lft result into the app and it is saying to isolate for 11 days…not a huge deal but I am just curious as I thought it was ten days after start of symptoms?

What's the end date? It's always been 10 full days starting the day after symptoms/positive test, so if today is the first day you've had symptoms this would be day 0, then 10 days isolating, you would be able to reenter the world on Thurs 23rd.

Aha, that makes sense. End date is 22nd, but it’s saying ‘11 days to go’ my brain hurts

The app told me to isolate for one day longer than the emails from the NHS. The emails are legal instructions, the app is not. I'm going by the emails.
