Ds positive.. text but no email.

From experience covid test results come through by email first then text. Ds has not long had a positive result by text, but not email. I'm worried there's been a mistake with email address. Only because I had issues registering his home test so I had to ring to do it, the lady on the phone might have Mis typed?

I guess it doesn't really matter. But was expecting email to fill out test and trace stuff like Dp had to earlier in the week!

Worried they will be ringing me instead. Dp had not had a single phone call!

Not sure what the point of this post is tbh!

How did you book? I’ve had every type of test going and when I’ve booked over the phone through my health board to use the drive through site I’ve only ever got texts. I’ve only had emails when I’ve booked online and gone for a test at a walk in site. The health board tests come from NHS Wales, the online booking ones come from the U.K. government so I think they are run completely differently. When I was positive TTP contacted me by phone.

Thank you. They haven't even sent his results by email. Dd's negative result came through by email earlier though... before the test!

It was a home test booked online. Had issues registering it. Kept kicking me out so had to ring to register two tests! DD's come through an hour two before DS's by email then text!

I guess it doesn't really matter! I just can't be added with phone calls! I get no mobile signal where I live! I don't think I put the landline in!

My daughter just had a text and instructions of how to record the positive result with a code etc. no email afaik
