If you used c19testing predeparture antigen test...

Due to travel over Christmas and will need to test 48h before flight. I am planning to order predeparture antigen tests from c19testing and I have read the tests they send out are the same flowflex ones used by NHS. So if one of them is defective or inconclusive, would I be able to substitute a flowflex cassette I already have from NHS and write the kit number on it? Or is there a reason why this wouldn't work?
Just wondering if I should order more kits than needed.

We used C19 and the test does look the same as the NHS one. But I don't know if you could substitute it with an NHS one in the event of inconclusive result. You have the write the reference number on the test cassette and photograph it showing the result with your passport. I don't know if they also check the barcode of the cassette too. You could order an additional one as the are valid for a long time and you could use on a future trip if you are worried.

Thanks. Yes I was thinking of ordering extra ones and cancelling within 14 days for a refund but it seems like a waste since I already have many flowflex cassettes.

I have used C19 several times and have never had a defective or inconclusive test. They've always been negative though I generally do an NHS one beforehand to double check.

If you order extra ones they'll send them straight away so i'm not sure you'd be able to cancel the order without sending them back.

Thanks. I am probably overthinking it. I won't order extra kits and hope for the best.
