I'm a normal person, late 40s. I thought I was eligible for a booster (3rd jab) and the NHS website agreed and let me book it for Dec 20th.
But the confirmation says the following (it's the last line that has me baffled):
"What to bring with you. You will need to bring:
- your booking reference number
- a face covering, unless you cannot wear one for a health or disability reason
- your referral letter if you have booked a 3rd dose for people with a severely weakened immune system
- proof of employment if you’re an eligible health or social care worker
If you have a booked a 3rd dose you will not be able to get vaccinated without your referral letter."
Is this right - do I need a referral to get a booster? Why does it say this?
