Test centre procedure - is this routine?

I had my booster shot today. Everyone was given their post vaccine 15min timer card and told to sit in the waiting room. People ahead of me walked out when finished. As I went to leave the room after 15 minutes the attendant demanded my name. Has anybody else had this?

They had probably just lost track of you.

We had to sit in an open marquee with digital timers, when you beeped - you went

All we had to do was hand in the timer card to show we’d completed 15 mins.

We were trusted to time for ourselves. No cards or beepers where I was.

I couldn’t understand why they demanded my name on leaving, it made no sense.
