If I've just gotten over Coronavirus, am I likely to get it again any time soon?

Jabbed or not jabbed, we're all getting coronavirus.

If we have gotten over it and no longer contagious, doesn't it make us the safest people to be around? We can no longer pick it up, we can no longer spread it, so why do we have to wear a mask?

(Unless we can get it again straight away).

Depends what version you had. I've heard omicron has a high reinfection rate. Is it really so hard to pit a mask on?

Nothing wrong with wearing a mask.

It's just sad we had a taster of normal life and now it's gone again.

I can't be the only one who knows they are no threat to society but has to cover up.

I just miss old life.

I'm in Scotland so mask wearing was never halted.

Not everyone develops antibodies after infection, or if they do they don’t last long. Infection with previous variants may not give much, if any, immunity to Omicron so you probably could get it very soon.
Whether infection with omicron gives any immunity to Omicron I don’t know.
