Two postal tests arrived. How do I know which is which.

Ordered 2 postal tests for my two dc. Both in same outer bag and two test sets in outer bag in their individual bags!

How do I know which is which? Both have Individual bar codes on. How do I know which belongs to which child? Without their names on it? Because I assume when I registered for 2 tests and they were sent out, each barcode is assigned to one child?!

I don't think it matters as you register them once the test has been taken .

You register them now using the barcode. There is a link in the instructions.

Or in my case you don't and you send back all five unregistered and have to start again 😬😭

It doesn't matter. They're only registered to a person once you do that by clicking on the link in the email confirmation that came when you ordered the test.

Thank you. We've done them individually this week and registered them but assumed that even when registering them the barcode was assigned before they reach us but maybe not? One of us has covid. Ordered home tests for dc - one with symptoms and the other not so worried they'd get muddled 🤯

I've just never done 2 at the same time. I'm a bit stupid sometimes. I guess when you register them it would make sense. Thanks guys!

If you phone the number they will go through it with you step by step and register there and then with you and then you just have to post it in one of those designated post box,s

Thanks all! Actually had a massive faff this afternoon. Registered one and wouldn't let me register the second as from the 'same order' so had to ring 119 who were very helpful and did it over the phone. Not sure what went wrong!

It kept telling me I couldn't register a second test...

That's odd, we have done 4 at a time on numerous occasions, plus a 5th separate test.

It was, I've registered 2 single tests in different days this week with no issues.

Went to register both DC's tests. Asked for the order ref which was the same for both children on my emails. I registered (so I thought) dd's and went to use the same ref on ds's as it was the same and it wouldn't let me. I didn't realise you could opt to register without the order ref before ringing 119. The lady I spoke to checked the barcode I had already done (so I thought) and it hadn't been registered! So did both over the phone! Strange!!
