Dp has covid, tested positive last weekend. So far the rest of have tested negative despite having coughs. I feel the coughs are unrelated. Dd has a cough last week and pcr negative, me and Ds have likely caught it. All our pcrs this week despite coughing were negative.

I've done 2, Dd 1 and ds 2 and all negative

However, today DS seems really tired, looks really pale, complaining of a sore throat etc. It's very likely he does have covid. I've ordered another home test.

What was your children's covid symptoms?

DS who is 9 was really tired and a croaky voice. I only tested as he had been a close contact and he was not completely himself, I wasn't expecting it to come back positive. He's had some epic nosebleeds with it as well. None of the three key symptoms at all. Day 4 now and still looking very tired, sleeping 14 hours at night but up and about playing during the day.

Fever for 24 hours, then pale, lethargic, slight cough, her food tasted sweet. Lethargy and grumpiness lasted about a week, she’s 8.

Oh and weirdly, two days before her positive test she kept sneezing, but I’m not sure if that was related!

8year old- sore throat, tiredness, croaky voice, cough, tummy ache and really painful leg muscles

Whatdoyawannado · 10/12/2021 16:29

DS1 sore eyes were first symptom then he developed chesty cough and lost taste/smell, very tired for first couple of days. DS2 only symptom was high temperature for three days.

Whatdoyawannado · 10/12/2021 16:29

DS1 is 12, DS2 is 7.

Ds age 11 had symptoms from a general virus that I really thought was Covid - persistent cough and high fever

Negative PCR

Then he got Covid and was fine - coughed a couple of times one night so tested with LFT and positive

FruitToast · 10/12/2021 16:32

Mainly a very snotty nose. Definitely covid as loads of school contacts and blazing positive LFT before positive PCR. The day she tested positive on LFT she was perfectly fine! Fever appeared on night 4 but gone by morning. No cough despite being asthmatic. So far DH (triple vax), me (triple vax) and DS (pre-school) are all still testing negative.

DD2 had a headache and high temperature for half a day, that’s why we tested her; DD1 had no symptoms whatsoever.

First symptom was a sore throat, then a very mild cough. That's it so far (day 5).
