I had Covid 2 months ago, but now have a cold and cough. With the new variant can I get another PCR yet????

I'm confused, advice welcome!

Yes you can, and you should. New symptoms always require a PCR test.

No, they used to say you shouldn't retest within 90 days. Has this changed then?

I've booked a PCR - I thought the issue was that you could still show positive from previous infections .......

They have always said you must test again if you have new symptoms. You should avoid routine testing, not symptomatic testing.
