Achey legs!

Is it a sign of covid? Dp has covid. I've had two negative pcr tests so far, but I have been feeling off. Not sure if tests are wrong or I have something else.

But achey legs. Can it be a sign? My legs are insanely achey, feels like muscle cramps shooting down my legs and my legs feel
Cold. My arms and shoulders are a bit achey too!

Planning to get re tested again tomorrow or Saturday. Despite feeling ill yesterday my second pcr was negative.

I'm staying in anyway.

Sounds more like flu or bad cold, where you get those types of symptoms.

CurlsLDN · 09/12/2021 09:33

Yes it can be a symptom

Though can also of course be a million other things, only way to know is to test

Covidwoes · 09/12/2021 09:36

Yes! Achey legs was my first symptom!

The main feels like it's the inside of my legs radiating downwards if that makes sense! I have ached with colds and viruses before but this feels muscular like I've ran a few miles - no chance 😅

Yep it could be, or it could be a million other viruses!

Assuming covid as Dp has it currently but who knows. Pcrs have been negative! 🤷‍♀️

I had covid last week and had really achey legs, particularly my hip and knee joints but also in my thigh muscles. I'm still suffering with it now.

Hope you are on the mend - despite the aches! Yesterday I had pains in my lower back and my hips too! Has it come and gone for you a bit? My legs were achey yesterday then went and back today. Yesterday's pcr was negative - I need to do another!

Achey legs, hips and knees was my first symptom and lasted ages. Got the same with my AZ vax and now with Moderna vax on Tuesday- but obvs not for as long or to the same extent.

the80sweregreat · 09/12/2021 09:55

My legs and hips were so achy ! Woke me up and I was in pain
Covid is a nasty horrible virus. I recovered , but I've never felt so poorly before

Thank you. I had AZ and due booster this week but cancelled just in case I have it!

The best way to explain it is pain but also like my joints are cold. I haven't got an actual temperature but I feel so cold despite heating being up full, in a dressing gown and layers etc. 36.4c though...

It was my first symptom too. Like shooting muscle cramps from hip to buttock to calf. Luckily that part only lasted about a day

Thank you. Sorry to hear that. Dp has it and she had next to no symptoms apart from feeling rough the first day with a headache and losing taste and smell. He's back to normal now (apart from smell and taste) and still has 6 days of isolation left!

My first symptom on Tuesday was insanely achey legs, like i had been doing a crazy workout. The rest of my body aches as well now, but my legs are the worst.

Thanks all. There is a good chance I have got covid. I have ached with viruses before this feels different, I can't explain it well!

I didn't get the cough though ! Nothing significant anyway.
I feel breathless still ( been out of isolation over a week now )
The chills were weird!
I had fatigue , so at least it solved my fatigue !!

the80sweregreat · 09/12/2021 10:18

Insomnia rather !!

I have had a cough since Saturday and two negative pcrs so I think the cough is in fact unrelated and caused by something not covid. Only because dc have both have coughs in the last week or two and negative pcrs - so possible we have covid and another virus in the house because ds is coughing and negative pcr too!! So I'm not sure whether I'm coming or going and what be covid or what's not so we are all isolating at the moment despite that the kdis could have gone back to school after negative pcr!

Hi yes - this was my first symptom! Achey legs…felt like it was down to the bones. Not long after temperature started, night sweats. The next day I got a very faint positive lateral flow so defo can be early symptom.
