I’m very confused!

As title suggests I’m so confused and I don’t understand.
Felt mildly unwell from the beginning of last week, probably started Monday 29th November. I couldn’t get any lateral flow tests and they weren’t typical Covid symptoms so I assumed I had a cold as I was sneezing not coughing.
Anyway, I finally got some lft’s on Saturday and tested. Immediate strong positive. I then ordered a PCR which just came back as void. I’ve just done another lateral flow and it’s now completely negative. No hint of a second line! What’s going on? Did I have Covid? Did I not? Was it a really mild case? Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like you had/have Covid did you isolate?
With pcr that are inconclusive you are usually advised to take another one.

How come you couldn’t test at the time? Whether it was a ‘mild case’ or not you should isolate from the 29th.

LFT lines are a bit variable, can come and go. The important point is that you’ve had one and it hasn’t been cancelled by a negative PCR within 48 hrs so you have to isolate. Have you reported the positive?

Do another PCR because it’s important for that to be checked for omicron too.

Hope you’re feeling OK.

Yes you have it. Void PCR basically means they detected some virus dna but not enough to definitely call it positive. Do another pcr and it probably will be positive.
