COVID recovery certificate

Hi all. I have just tested positive for Covid. So far feeling ok and keeping fingers crossed for the next week!

I’m meant to be going to France for New Year. I understand that I may test positive on PCR tests for sometime so will need a Covid recovery certificate to prove I’ve have the damn thing recently.

My question is, how do I get one? I could be being super thick but I couldn’t see anything on the Gov website; the only thing I could find was a site offering one for £150!!!

Have any of you got hold of one and how did you do it? TIA

I think it’s just your Covid pass on the NHS app isn’t it. It reflects your Covid status
(Though someone come be along soon to tell me I’m talking nonsense Blush )

Nope you are correct :) it's an extra QR code on the NHS app. I've got one along with the ones for my 2 jabs.

In the same boat and someone told me this morning there is no certificate! You just have to test negative. France is accepting LFTs which are less sensitive.

Yeah I was just gonna say, I'm not sure France are actually accepting certificate of recovery tho. Doesn't look like it from the FCO website, but I only scanned it quickly so may have missed it.
