WWYD - nursery, covid, third trimester

Last update from nursery (on Friday) was three cases of covid in the room, one adult and two children.

Annoyingly, no update today.

I kept him off on Friday, should I keep him off tomorrow?

He currently does 2 days a week, and is 4 in Feb if relevant.

Are you in the third trimester of pregnancy? Sorry not 100% sure on that. Have you been vaccinated?

minitree · 06/12/2021 16:56

Sorry, yes I'm 30 weeks pregnant, double vaccinated. Not sure when I can have my booster

I’m 26 weeks, and I personally wouldn’t risk it. BUT, my pregnancy is very high risk and that will be colouring my judgment no doubt. If you can keep him off, personally I probably would Flowers

He legally does not need to be there anyway and we can't be sure how this new variant might affect pregnant women. Do you need him to go for work? In that case you might not have much choice but to send him in unless family can help, if it's for him to socialise etc, then I'd keep him home personally until you see how how the numbers are going to go.
