False Positive?

I've done three tests this morning, all the Flowflex type, all three showing positives results. The first was read after 25 minutes, the second and third more like 35.

It does say not to read the results after 30 minutes but are they likely to be accurate? I've never seen a result like this, even on the DCs tests which have often been left on the kitchen counter all day from being used to test in the morning.

But were the lines for the 35 min tests checked at 30 mins? And were the lines showing then? I'd say you're positive

I took a test yesterday morning as I was feeling unwell. Came back negative and I went on about my day. Came home hours later and glanced at the test again and a line was visible. This was roughly 7 hours after the test so I tested again and it showed a very clear positive after a few seconds. Waiting on my pcr results now but based on how I’m feeling; I’d say I’m positive x

Yep, positive. If you are at thr start of the infection the line will probably get darker.
You may also have caught the tail end of the positive lines (ie the dark ones might have been last Thursday /Friday)

We have found that the flow flex tests turn slightly positive hours after the time you are meant to check them quite often, but showing negative within the time frame. PCR tests have come back negative
Not had this on any other brands of lateral flow tests.

In the last week I’ve had multiple positives using FlowFlex, but 3 negative pcrs. There are other threads running with people reporting the same.

I'd say you are positive first one. I've had plenty like 2 and 3 flowed by negative PCRs.

After 30 minutes the positive result you see isn't reliable. They just turn that way after being left a long time. If you're seeing a positive before the 30 minute mark you likely have it. Negatives are just generally not very reliable so a negative doesn't really confirm anything. PCR is the only way to be sure, but if you've had some positive results within the advised timeframe then you probably have it

I have had 3 false positives in the 30 mins on these tests, weeks apart. PCR’s were negative. They are shit tests I have concluded!

Were they 15 minute tests for example Flowflex ?

But I can't see any lines on 2 and 3! What are other people seeing?!
