Dp 42 is double jabbed but tested strong positive on lft yesterday, pcr confirmed! He had a migraine and nose bleeds yesterday, as well as vomiting - which is common with migraines for him. Yesterday evening mild cold like symptoms - runny nose, sneezy and slight tickle but otherwise fine. Migraine has passed now. He slept all night and feels pretty good this morning apart from mild cold symptoms. He did feel really shivery yesterday but no actual temperature and seems to have passed.

Convincing myself it's going to get worse for him - jumping to worse case scenario as usual.

What was your experience with covid? Did it get worse before it got better? Could this be it for him?

What's the likelihood of me catching it. I was double jabbed with az early. Have not had booster - was booked in for it this week! 🤯

Impossible to say as it's so different for everyone. When I had Covid it was like a cold. I had a raised temperature for a couple of days but nothing major. I was 30 and single jabbed when I caught it.

From 3 cases going on here, it may linger 'properly' for 7-8 days with some different symptoms even if there are some good points in the time. Deep cough which didn't seem to loosen up, chills, being very tired indeed and 12 hour sleeps, and a day of vomiting. No temperatures. I was also v anxious about anything more dramatic but on day 10 we all suddenly felt so much better, more sure that nothing else was lurking. Take it very easy for a week at least.

(Sorry, similar age to your DH as well).

I’m currently on day 6 (35, double jabbed) and just have a mild cold. I keep expecting it to get worse but it hasn’t yet, touch wood.

I was worse on day 1/2 because I had muscle aches and back cramps plus a high temp for a short while. Since then I’ve just been snotty!

Lost my smell and taste though.

Thanks all. His smell and taste are fine so far. What day does that normally go?!

No idea but mine went on about day 5. It was quite gradual as I thought it was just due to having a blocked nose but it’s definitely gone

I’m on about day 5 now. Just had a blocked nose for first 3 days. But of a chesty cough started yesterday but nothing major. Sense of smell went this afternoon, but thankfully I can still taste wine!!!

I'm double jabbed. I tested positive on a lft- very dark solid line within 30 seconds of doing the test. I had 24 hrs of feeling a bit lousy (as you describe- runny nose, shivery etc) , and that was it 🤷‍♀️
