Only 1 jab - any protection?

My partner has tested positive for Covid and I’ve only had one Covid jab due to having the worst anxiety of my life afterwards. One of my side effects were dizzy spells and it happened to me whilst driving. This then caused me to have major anxiety and panic attacks whilst driving to the point I had to pull over and called an ambulance / it was truly awful. It was debilitating and I couldn’t drive to work. Because of this I haven’t been able to bring myself to have the second vaccine :(

Do you think I will have some level of protection having the 1 jab?

When did you have your first jab?

The vaccine is a course of two jabs, so you have not had the recommended dose, no.
You'll have more protection than if you'd had none, but obviously it will be waning.
I had flu-like symptoms on jab 1 and none at all on jab 2 so you may have been through the worst of it already. I hope you are not too affected if you get infected, and that you do the best you can to avoid spreading it further.

I caught Covid after only having one jab and it was mild. I'd just get the second jab to be honest and ride it out, your life is likely going to become quite restricted if you're not fully vaccinated.
