Returning to UK tomorrow...passport in married name vaccine pass in maiden name

Posting here for traffic but I'm unable to check in for my flight home online as my passport and ticket are in my married name but my vaccine passport is in my maiden name.
I was allowed to enter France from the UK four days ago but am I going to be able to get home?
Everything I've read says they need to be in the same name. If it helps my maiden name is Smith and my married name is Smith-Davies (not real names).
When I get to the airport do you think they'll allow me to check in?
Sorry for the ramble but having a panic about being allowed to come home!!

You probably need to check with your airline. Good luck

TakeYourFinalPosition · 05/12/2021 11:20

Call your airline.

I wasn’t allowed to leave until I’d got my vaccine passport changed back into my maiden name at the GP, as it needed to match my passport… but if you made it out four days ago, perhaps there’s more leeway, or your carrier doesn’t mind as much.

Thanks!! I'm trying to get hold of BA but I can't. Bloody nightmare

I have this issue and have just been carrying my marriage cert with me but haven't as yet been asked to produce it.

CovidCorvid · 05/12/2021 11:23

Ive had this with yellow fever vaccine card years ago and just took my marriage certificate as well. But obviously that wasn’t as computerised as covid passports.

monkeynutter · 05/12/2021 11:24

I didn't even think about it and my marriage certificate is at home. Do you think they'd accept a picture if my mum goes to get a
Copy?

Just take your marriage certificate to the airport and check in there. Maybe leave a bit more time.

Incognito22333 · 05/12/2021 11:26

Yes I would carry a copy as a back up! Ideally print it off

Postdatedpandemic · 05/12/2021 11:27

Get your mum to send a photo
Plus
I had the same problem in summer and just showed a credit card in my maiden name.

Never ever travelling again, it's been far too stressful. We only came to see my husbands parents as he hasn't seen them for two years because of bloody Covid.
Trying to get hold of my mum to take a picture and I have my driving licence and credit cards in my maiden name. Hopefully they let me board otherwise I have nooooo idea what I do

Crisis averted! If the worst comes to the worst I can treat myself as unvaccinated and luckily had brought with us two paid for LFTs so have done one just in case and have a fit to fly certificate 😅
