Get booster or delay?

Covid is currently working it's way through my household, both children have tested positive in the last 8 days and my partner tested positive yesterday.
I am a care worker starting a new job next week, double vaccinated and due my booster.
I am currently off work looking my children, they are primary age and wanting lots of cuddles so not much distancing going on!

I am just unsure whether I should go ahead and book my booster asap, or wait until everyone is clear in case I catch it too? Feel like a sitting duck currently!
I know your not meant to have a jab within 28 days of having covid, so that's what is making me hesitate in case I do come down positive also.
What would other people do? Any advice welcome, thank you!

I’d probably wait.

Have a look at the website, you probably won’t have anything available in the next 2 weeks or even more. I was booking DD’s booster a couple of weeks ago and there was nothing for next 2 weeks and then limited availability. And if you want particular time/ day it’s even worse. I would expect it to be worse now not better, but of course it might depend which area you are in.
