Testing negative after having covid?

Does anyone know how long it would take to show negative on an LFT after actually having covid?

My new employers are telling me not to return until I show a negative "test" result.

You can show positive up to 90 days after. Your employers should not be asking you to do that as government guidelines say not to test for 90 days.

Your employers are wrong. You have no need for a negative test to return to normal after covid

Thanks. This is what I thought.

Does anyone have any sort of nhs or government link I can send to them?
