Arriving in the UK if you have recovered from Covid

Does anyone know what the situation is if you are due to arrive in the UK and have recovered from Covid in the last 90 days under the new rules that require all arrivals to take a PCR test. Obviously it is well publicised in the UK that you shouldn't take a PCR test within 90 days of having had a positive as you can get a false negative. So will they accept a proof of recovery from Covid instead? I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere.

No I dont think that UK make this exemption. With the rukes i troduces specifically in response to omicron, it wouksnt make any sense anyway, as the spike proteins are so different that peolle who have had different variants have a high chance of contracting it again. I dont think you can embark for UK without a private pcr booked. Think youll just have to keep your fingers crossed!
