Yesterday i found out me husband and 2 young children was a close contact of a postive case at the weekend, we all went for pcr tests and are awaiting the results, my youngest has a cough but has had that for the last week and has been reguarly tested of which all were negative.
The kids are off school untill the results come back, my aunt is due to visit today my husband doesnt think its right she is and she should stay away but as i very clearly pointed out to him , his going to work and mixing so whats the difference. I see his point i dont agree however -my aunt lives alone, we recently lost my very sick nan so we no longer have a huge risk & my aunt saw my parents yesterday aswell, they was also a close contact and also got a pcr yesterday.

I literally cant see the issue the testing center told us you dont need to self isolate and can carry on as normal????

Technically yes, it’s fine.

I think she would be foolish to do so.
