What test to get back to US?!

Hello can anyone tell me which type of private test my friend needs to get back into US from UK? Just cannot find any info about this, her airline app just says “test must be viral test following types can be used NAAT, RT PCR, NEAR, TMA, LAMP, HDa, CRISPER, indicating antigen test, viral antigen test. . . “ gah! So complicated!
Don’t want to book the wrong one!

Keep trying to call one of these private test places and just on hold for hours 😬

Lateral flow is fine.

Needs to be a supervised lateral flow though with a fit to fly cert provided.

^^This. You have to do the lateral flow on zoom so they can see you do it. Not the list you get free from the nhs, one you pay for privately.

Lateral flow is fine (but not the free ones). Most of the approved test providers will clearly say which tests are acceptable for which country (fit to fly).

Having said that, DD1 got away without doing one, as she'd had Covid the month before (needed "document of recovery" instead).
