Taking kids for a pcr

I get a positive pcr on Saturday and am obviously isolating. My husband has just got a positive lft today and is going for a pcr in an hour or so. Both kids (17 and 14) are currently negative (they had pcrs on Monday). If they do get a line on a lft later this week, can DH or I take them for a pcr if we are supposed to be isolating?

I think you can as you can to post the antibody test.

Or you could order home tests?

You are allowed to leave the house for taking a pcr. I’m sure that must include taking kids who can’t get there themselves.

Yes- I drove my DDs for their tests after positive LFT even though I was already positive. Other option would have been get a test in the post, but I would have had to drive to the post box regardless.

Thank you- I forgot about home tests. I've ordered them as I don't feel up to driving anyone anywhere.
