So fed up

Ds aged 7 has a cold, either from school or his cousin kindly sharing hers at the weekend. Now he has croup and has to have a pcr test. Which means the hospital (understandably) won't let my 8 year old come in for his appointment today. We now have to wait another month on top of the month we have already waited for a new appointment. Meanwhile my 8 year old is having to put up with hearing aids that don't fit properly (his ears grow surprisingly fast, he needs new moulds every 2 months) which means he gets feedback/whistling. He then struggles even more at school because on top of his learning difficulties he now can't hear the teacher properly.

So fed up, not sure with who as it's nobody's fault really.

Ahh that sucks op! always comes along at worse times. No advice but I feel your pain. My dc seem to get ill and require pcr tests at the worst times. thankfully all their tests have been negative!

Thankyou. Pcr test results still not back so I've had to cancel another hospital appointment for my 8 year old. On a positive note it's dress up day at school today and I'm so glad I didn't buy him an expensive costume.

Feel for you OP. My daughter's deaf and missed her last appointment due to waiting for PCR results (negative but she had a horrible cough so obviously would take her in a hospital!).

It's so hard
