Hi,
I am on day 6 if being covid positive. Nothing unmanageable so far, very up down, feel very congested again this evening, achy etc.
Anyway, just noticed in the last half an hour or so a cluster of pink spots which I think are petechiae. In total, they are about the size of a 10 pence piece.
Has anyone had this? I have mild health anxiety and now telling myself I have meningitis etc ( which the rational part of me thinks this is unlikely).

Call your GP, who can check a photo for you. It's probably from the strain of coughing, but useful to be checked.

Covid rash is a symptom, particularly in children and can vary from a few spots to all over rash and clusters of spots.

Please ring 111 for advice on this.

Does the rash disappear if you press it with the bottom of a glass?

Thanks all. I do feel better today, and the rash is less red but is still there. It doesn't disappear under a glass. I have heard about rashes during covid but I thought they were more have type rashes.
