Nausea after covid ?

DD had covid early Oct. The past two weeks she's had bouts of nausea. She's had to increase her inhaler from seretide 50 to 125 after covid but nausea doesn't seem to be a side effect so I'm wondering if this is a post covid thing? She was quite ill and lost her sense of smell but it's back now .

Has anyone suffered nausea after covid?

I’ve had several episodes of nausea and headaches but no confirmatory pcr. Was caught up in the lab scandal though

Thanks @disappointed101
Could also be hormonal I guess.
Either way I guess it's a watch and wait scenario

She gets headaches too but I think that's the inhaler and should settle .

Eldest dd had covid beginning July and every week since she's had at least one bout of nausea. For maybe the first 4 weeks after covid she was vomiting a few times a week as well then that tailed off but she still gets nausea so bad that she dry boaks Sad

She also lost her taste and smell and although it came back quite quickly, things don't always taste right and she has some days where "everything smells like literal shit"

She hasn't complained about it in a while but I don't know if that's because she's back to normal or it's her new normal now. She's 18 btw.

Gosh it's a weird disease. DD didn't even notice the lost of smell initially, I noticed that she wasn't smelling things I could !

Hopefully the nausea will settle down soon.

Yes I did, but quite a while after the main symptoms had gone. It tended to be in the evenings. It did disappear. I had ginger tea and things. This helped a bit

Could she have a lingering stomach bug? There’s loads of sick bugs doing the rounds 😷 could be that’s she just got a mild one that didn’t cause vomiting but has unsettled her stomach a bit..

I've just got a feeling it's covid related as she's so well in herself , and it doesn't seem to relate to her asthma. Hoping it will resolve like the sense of smell did .
It seems to be a late pm/eve thing as well.
