16+ 2nd jab side effects?

Just fact gathering, not scaremongering.
What, if any, side effects did your teen have?

My teen was fine yesterday (jab in the morning) but headache this morning treated with paracetamol. Slight headache tonight but I suspect she hadn't drunk enough water today.

Her friend had jab at same time, no side effects at all.

DD (second dose in September at 17- not UK) had a temperature for a day after the second dose.

sore arm , headache and knackered after second dose.. Kept him off school and he slept most of day, unlike him.

Sore arm and fever for a couple of days.

Hope she's ok now OP. I read a while ago that more side effects were reported in the 18-24 category, and they thought there was a link between hydration and sugar levels if they hadn't eaten recently.

17 yr old DS had his second Pfizer jab last Thursday. Had a sore arm and slight headache on Friday and literally slept for about 2 days (I kept waking him up at intervals to make sure he drank).

It reminded me of when he was a toddler and would just sleep an illness off. He emerged on Sat evening right as rain and starving hungry, he has been absolutely fine since.

slight sore arm - not enough to stop gaming slight headache but equally seemed a bit dehydrated as well otherwise nothing....
