Do I have to isolate?

Colleague informed me he has positive LFT, taking PCR tomorrow.

I have taken LFT and negative. We have separate offices but work quite closely together and have been in the car together quite a few times in the last week.

I am single jabbed. Don't have the NHS app. Do I have to isolate?

Yes you do. It is only people that are double jabbed or under a certain age that don’t have to. I imagine test and trace will be in contact with you soon.

No because he hasn't had a positive Pcr. Assuming he does get one you will have to isolate.

Once you're fully vaccinated you won't have to isolate for a close contact.

When did she start showing symptoms (if any) and when did you last see her? You only have to isolate if you have been in contact with covid positive person within the 48 hours before their symptoms start (or if no symptoms, the positive test I assume)!

But if you have been in contact its likely you will have to isolate. The app obviously won't ping you being turned off (mines turned off to!) but if she gives your details as a close contact you will!

But I don't think you have to actually isolate until positive pcr though, not just with a positive lft. But I might be wrong and I would be cautious anticipating positive pcr!

Sorry I misread. The isolation won’t start until the positive PCR result.

Last saw him on Friday afternoon and he took the test Saturday night.
So I can continue as normal until they get a positive PCR?
