I’m reading conflicting advice. I flew in from Spain today. Do I need a day 2 PCR or has that not started yet?

It starts on Tuesday so you're fine and you won't need to isolate until you get a result.

So, when you say I don’t need to isolate until I get the result, do you mean I do have to get a test?

You may need one to return ro Spain, it’s that countries entry requirements you now need to know.

But, I did have to fill out the return form and was told to get a test so does that mean I have to self isolate 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Are the current rules not an LFT test on return from Spain?

Currently it's an LFT test you need and then from 4am on 30th November arrivals to UK need to take a PCR and isolate until you get results

You must have ordered a day2 test to fill in your passenger locator form.

You can take the test any time from your arrival up to day 2 (if the test has arrived in time).

As you arrived today then you need to do the test that you have bought and paid for but you do not need to isolate.

New rules were announced yesterday. From Tuesday, anyone arriving needs to have booked a day 2 PCR test and they are required to isolate until they receive a negative result. This doesn't apply to you.
