Booster side effects - deciding when to book?

I read that side effects are worse when having Pfizer booster after AZ. Is that people’s experience? The first date I can get the booster is 48 hours before I have to do a 5 hour drive. Not sure if I should wait, but then it won’t be until after Xmas.

Where did you read that?

I had my booster and flu jab on Thursday. Apart from a mildly sore arm, no side effects at all

My daughter had the Pfizer booster after AZ with no side effects. I've had all three Pfizer with no side effects. It's a very individual reaction so nobody can really tell you.

I didn’t have any symptoms, my booster was Pfizer after having 2 AZ, I did have covid 3 months ago so maybe that is why the booster gave me no side effects?

I had Pfizer booster after two doses of Astrazeneca. Just had a slightly sore arm.

Pfizer after AZ here. Just a sore arm for me.

Two of my family had Pfizer booster after AZ this week with nothing other than a slightly tender arm if they lay on it in bed. One of them had quite a bad reaction to both AZs (the other nothing at all)

I think I read it on here. It was a graph showing all the different combinations and the likelihood of side effects. But everyone’s experiences so far sound positive.

I think 48 hrs is a pretty good period to get over the mild side effects you might have. Catching Covid just before Xmas would be a bigger problem!

I've just had the Pfizer booster after 2 AZ. Was fine until around 18 hours after, then high temp, shivers, all joints and skin hurt. Laid up in bed for the rest of the day plus the next. 2 days after jab perfectly fine.
Had no reactions with the first 2, think it's pot luck really.

My DB and I plus various family and friends had Pfizer after 2 AZ. Most have had sore arm and nothing else. DH has had 3 Pfizer, just sore arm.
