Hang in there OP.

It’s horrible, I had it mild and I hated it so I can only imagine how nasty it must be for you. I found drinking plenty of water and just resting in bed helped a huge deal. I took paracetamol on the days when I felt roughest. Hopefully others who experienced similar sinus issues to you will come along and give you some advice.

You’ll be on the mend soon though 💐

Sounds pretty normal OP. No need to panic anymore than any other nasty virus 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had horrific sinus pain with covid. It was so bad! But lots of friends had the same so I knew to expect it, seems very common. It will go. I steamed my sinuses, used salt nasal spray & my pharmacist suggested a steroid nasal spray that you use for hey fever. That really helped! I also took paracetamol & nurofen very regularly & drank loads of coffee 😂 I’m not a single parent but my DH was working away the week I had it 🤦🏼‍♀️ It was tough but you battle through these things as a parent right? We’ve just all had a nasty stomach bug here & good god, that’s been a tough few parenting days. Worse than covid 😭😩

It took me 3 weeks to fully recover from covid. All good now bar I still can’t smell 😩

How would you usually manage sinusitis? Treat the symptoms as you would with any other occurrence.

Yep regular chronic sinus issues for me too. So when I got it it was horrendous pain and wanted to rip my face off 🙁 Menthol crystals for steaming and boots own sinus decongestants and paracetamol. Hope it settles soon X

I spent the full 10 days feeling like I'd been punched in the face, my nose has never hurt like that. I used lemsip max and night nurse which helped a little but not much. I'm now a week on from the end of my isolation and although my nose doesn't hurt I'm completely bunged up but still struggle to blow anything out (sorry TMI)! I suffer with alergic rhinitis and have had sinusitis many years ago but it was bad enough I spent over a week in bed as it affected my balance and I kept vomiting. Anyway, I'm wondering if the virus affected my nose more as this is my "weak" area? I had no cough.

Get some Beconase spray for your nose, I had that awful virus that wasn't Covid & the spray worked wonders. Like op have said use Nightnurse at night & the spray, take Ibuprofen if you can as well. You can get the spray on Amazon if you haven't anyone to fetch one.
