My dd has covid, confirmed pcr. I did a pcr as a close contact and work needed one, nhs. It's come back inconclusive, what's the general experience of this happening? Do they then turn positive?

Dd had inconclusive yesterday and a positive on the follow up. I was expecting it to go positive as I've got covid just now. Fingers crossed for you

Dd had an inconclusive one last week, follow up was negative.

My dd had an inclusive pcr Tuesday (after a positive lateral flow) followed up by a positive pcr Wednesday. Now hoping it doesn't spread round the rest of the household! Fingers crossed for you.

I got an inconclusive result and a positive the next day.

My lfts are all negative. I'm so hoping not to have a positive pcr but will duly have another tmrw. My nose is sore 😅
