My son has had a cough constantly since beginning of October. He is building his immune system, attending pre-school and picking up EVERY BUG GOING. He has developed a cough AGAIN today. He has had 4 PCRs in the last half term (7 weeks). We work in education. We know the need to test. But it is so invasive and the coughs so regular...and we don't get paid for dependent leave. Wales now advises to only test under 5s is there a clinical need. Do I head off to the testing site again tomorrow, pin him down and test him again? Is there another way? I read about spit tests...can I buy these?!!!

My 2 year old has had 9 covid tests. I feel your pain.

I feel your pain too. Ive had to test my one year old several times because of nursery and I'm pretty sure he gets every bug/virus there is to be caught. He's poorly every other week! I think ive paid for him to stay at home more then he's actually attended nursery.
