How did you find this out? I had a text saying this but have no idea why! No one’s mentioned it at all through the pandemic.

ChurchlightJane · 26/11/2021 21:18

Are they sending out letters and texts again now?

wendywoopywoo222 · 26/11/2021 21:19

I had a txt today to tell me I'm at increased risk and gave me a link to have my booster jab which I actually had two weeks ago 🤔🤔

RachC2021 · 26/11/2021 21:43

It’s just someone being lazy and not altering the text message. Everyone I know has had the same — they’re not vulnerable they’re just 40+ and now eligible for a booster.

shouldistop · 26/11/2021 21:52

I think it's just something that's been sent to everyone eligible for a booster

KatyMac · 26/11/2021 21:53

Text and email

I've just had covid (despite double vaccine) and I was pretty poorly- I have cfs/fm plus a few other bits

Maybe it is laziness? I'm 53

Yep - it’s just this
gogohm · 26/11/2021 22:09

I got one, everyone over 40 did

ssd · 26/11/2021 22:09

That sounds a bit crazy @KatyMac. Hope you're feeling better now. How's your dd doing now, still dancing?

OatALot · 26/11/2021 22:10

What have people over 40 gotten?

Frazzled2207 · 26/11/2021 22:11

I’m 43 and not had anything. Nor has dh.

KatyMac · 26/11/2021 22:12

Good

DD is still dancing - starting to get lots of work - covid was a bit pants! and theatre is only really starting up again in the second half of this year - trying to buy a flat!

I got the text today, telling me to book my booster as they have no record of me having it yet.

I had it a month ago and it’s showing on my NHS app.

JanglyBeads · 27/11/2021 00:37

Yes I got this (also after having had my booster) and did a double take, until I realised it must be referring solely to age-based risk!

Postdatedpandemic · 27/11/2021 00:41

You're over fifty and got a reminder, what's the problem?

JessieLongleg · 27/11/2021 01:09

It's not looked at a individual basis just age. Don't take offence. The NHS dont even test you before the next vaccine it a standard time yet everyone will have different levels of antibodies. It would cost the NHS to much to run that and other tests pre next jab. At least you are healthy I've have a few things wrong and noone will look at my individual health against the vaccine.

Same here. Lovely way to start a text out of the blue.
ArblemarchTFruitbat · 27/11/2021 01:35

Yes, I got one ... a week after I'd had my booster after booking it myself online.
