If you lost your sense of smell with Covid, how long did it take to come back?

I tested positive last weekend. Luckily, I seem to have a very mild case - just a bit congested and a couple of days of feeling generally under the weather.
However, yesterday I realised that I can't smell. If something is really pungent, like perfume or spices I can smell it faintly but less strong, day to day scents are gone 😔. On the upside, unpleasant scents are gone too...even DS's football boots!
I normally have a keen sense of smell and I take a lot of pleasure and comfort in nice smelling things. At the moment, I can't smell DP or DS which is horrible! If you lost your smell how long did it take to come back and was it the same as before?
So far I can still taste but a little muted because of the smell loss.

My sense of smell and taste were back just after 10 days.

Mine started coming back around two weeks after I first got covid but it's still not back to my pre covid state! I usually have a very keen sense of smell!

Thanks all. Taste seems to be going today too. I can taste bitter and sweet but not much else! I'm really hoping it's back before Christmas!

Smell still isn't back to what it should be after 2 months, I can smell things right under my nose but that's it 🤷‍♂️.

Well, that was weird! My smell came back on Sunday. It felt like quite a sudden thing - I hugged DS when he came back from his dad's in the afternoon and realised that I could smell that he'd just showered. It was probably more gradual than it felt though.
It's not back to 100% but definitely improved, thank goodness!

I had Covid about 15 months ago and they came back after a few weeks but it’s never been the same since. Taste and smell comes and goes. Sometimes things taste or smell horrible and I randomly get a strong smell of burning/cigarette smoke and it hurts my nose and makes me feel sick.
