Would you go to the pub with someone who had two kids at home who had tested positive?

Just that really. Would you want to sit in a pub for the evening with someone who had two kids at home that had tested positive in the last few days?

Depends on when the kids tested positive, if the adult has tested and if the adult had had covid and vaccinations.

BabycakesMatlala · 25/11/2021 18:37

Nope. And I know they're allowed out despite being a close contact, but I think it's quite selfish of then to knowingly go into an indoor, no mask environment in that position. It's not that hard to avoid the pub for a few days!

ToastieSnowy · 25/11/2021 18:38

No

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 25/11/2021 18:38

Yes

Branleuse · 25/11/2021 18:40

Probably not, but if theyd been fully vaccinated and tested negative then i would still do a socially distanced outdoor meet

Herja · 25/11/2021 18:43

No. I see my 83 year old grandad, who is undergoing chemo, every week. I couldn't in good conscience see him and I would pick seeing him over a friend every time.

Without that issue probably. I'd be happier outside though.

YouHaveNoAuthorityHereJackie · 25/11/2021 18:43

No. And tbh I’d judge them for even considering it. Knowing how quickly it went round our family last Christmas, we’ve already decided if any of us test positive, we’re all isolating.

thisplaceisweird · 25/11/2021 18:44

Absolutely not!

Rissole · 25/11/2021 18:45

No chance! Just to socialise? Never!

AnotherEmma · 25/11/2021 18:46

If the adult was double vaccinated and had a negative PCR test, and had a negative lateral flow just before going out, I would consider meeting them outside with masks on. Not inside though, I wouldn't meet them and would disapprove of them going inside the pub especially without a mask.

kowari · 25/11/2021 18:48

Yes, I've had covid and still had antibodies two months ago. I'd stay away from my grandmother for 10 days to be sure though.

Zodlebud · 25/11/2021 18:50

Nope. The government guidelines are that this is ok but surely anyone in their right mind in those circumstances would lay low for ten days and be testing every day, not heading to the pub.

Wakemeuuuup · 25/11/2021 18:50

Nope

Heartdogs · 25/11/2021 18:51

Yes, I'm double jabbed like most people and have probably had it at least once like most people, am youngish, healthy and probably regularly come into contact with someone who is positive.

Spudina · 25/11/2021 18:53

I didn’t a couple of weeks ago and then the Mum tested positive afterwards. Glad we cancelled.

Augusta1 · 25/11/2021 18:53

Yes. My DD had it and I didn’t catch it and I work in a school so have been around children with Covid before they had PCRs. It wouldn’t bother me.

DaisyWaldron · 25/11/2021 18:54

No.

iloveredwine · 25/11/2021 18:57

I did but we sat in the beer garden with coats on. All good.

TheFlis12345 · 25/11/2021 18:57

Nope, not a chance.

fluffythedragonslayer · 25/11/2021 18:59

Yes I would, it wouldn't worry me at all. I mean I might not hug and kiss them but I'd be happy to meet up. We can't all isolate forever.

whatnumber · 25/11/2021 19:03

It depends if you have had covid recently or if you want to catch it!
Don't trust the LFT and can't trust the result of a PCR as the person could become positive a short while after taking it!
It spreads like wildfire.

Coldtoday · 25/11/2021 19:04

I’d rather not but probably would.

FlorenceWintle · 25/11/2021 19:05

Yes I would. It’s everywhere anyway.

Northernsoullover · 25/11/2021 19:05

Hell to the no!

rainrainraincamedowndowndown · 25/11/2021 19:08

No way, why would you, unless you want to get infected.
