Multiple Results One PCR Test

Has anyone ever heard of getting two results back for the same pcr test via text message? And then for them to be different results?!

Yes it happened to my friend yesterday. First text positive, second text negative. Had to do PCR again, waiting for result.

yes happened to us in the summer (test for travelling)
didn't have yo repeat the test as the lab did a review of the test. which was negative.

This was yesterday and exactly the same scenario too. I think another PCR is the only sensible course of action too.

Were the names and dob the same?

Yes! First message says positive but doesn't say type of test as it normally does, second one is negative and specifics PCR.
