Covid Pass on App for Medically Exempt - Anyone Received One?

I am medically exempt from getting the 2nd vaccine dose after an adverse reaction to the first vaccination (and I'm not anti vaccine, got the vaccination in the first place, rest of my family are or will be vaccinated including my kids, so this post is not about vaccine choice).

I've gone through the process of getting the form from 119, then got it authorised by my GP. GP practice confirmed it's been authorised but still the NHS app won't update. It's well past the deadline of how long the website says it should take.
I've made calls and chased. No one seems to know what's going wrong - so I just wondered, is this only me having a problem? Is it a technical bug? Have others received theirs? If so, were there issues or delays?

In the end it appears there was some technical issue, the surgery resubmitted their end on the software and it eventually worked. I received a paper letter a couple of weeks later. The app just works now showing the pass. So in the end it’s all okay.
