Home PCR no security seal

My eldest has tested positive for Covid so I’ve ordered home PCRs for the rest of us. Only 2 of 3 arrived and neither have a security seal, has anyone else had this and had results? The woman at 119 suggested this could be signs of them being tampered with so they might not be tested!

My test that arrived yesterday was exactly the same. I put my own tape on the box but god knows if they will still test it. The sample is all sealed so maybe they will?

I had the same a week ago. Used my own tape , just where the security seal should have been. Got my result as normal.

That's good - I was hoping it would still be ok

Great, thank you. Hopefully they’ll accept it then.

I had two in mine yesterday Hmm

They often have no security seals ( I use a lot as test for care home staff..) either use one of the spare bar code stickers or any old piece of tape it's fine.

I had a missing security seal.

I used a plain white sticky label.

Still got tested and results back. (Negative test if that makes any difference?)

I had about 5 in one the other day. So I've saved them.
