Hi so my partner tested positive yesterday and I did test as well just to check it come up with a very faint line but very visible. Since then I’ve tested a few times and they are all negative. I do have symptoms temp 37.8 severe headache since Sunday, cough, sore throat and now a bit achy. I did a pcr today so am awaiting the results. Has anyone else experienced this?
Do the LFTs pick up any virus or just Covid-19.
I have really bad anxiety disorder I cannot stop thinking about it all. I’m always thinking the worse I’m so nervous. I cannot relax at all. Every little virus I get always goes to my chest so I am Absolutely petrified about Covid.

If a lft came up with a faint line then it's still positive, they can pick up new virus or old virus though.

I have had covid but it was before being vaccinated. If you don't have a oximeter then go on amazon and buy one. It really was invaluable as I could monitor and could show it to the Dr via video assessment which helped.

Why have you not done a PCR?

dementedpixie · 23/11/2021 22:45

She has done a PCR and is waiting on results

Have you done a pcr? You’ll need to isolate until you get the result.

It sounds very likely that you have covid given your partner does and you have symptoms. Flowers

Sorry missed on first reading you’ve done a pcr.

Sorry, I seem to be struggling with my brain completely tonight Blush

I hope the results are back quickly OP

Sorry to hear this, but as your symptoms started Sunday, you are already on day 3 and I hope you get better and look after yourself.

Hi OP I would echo the advice to get yourself a pulse oximeter from Amazon. Take care x
