Positive lft today

I did two lft this afternoon and got two faint positives. I had a drive through PCR this evening. I was just wondering if anyone had positive lft(s) and then a negative PCR?

I have an MRI I have been waiting for for weeks on Saturday, I was just wondering if I still had any hope!

Did you follow the instructions with time limits and not eating etc?

That looks positive to me. And it’s not that faint. I would assume you have Covid.

Sorry I think your result will be positive, my lateral flows were faint too.

My dc did on Mon. A line very similar to yours, no symptoms. PCR negative. X

Thanks everyone. I’m still feeling very rough, I reported the lft as positive on the Covid app. I got a text and email this afternoon saying my test is positive, but didn’t mention PCR in it anywhere. I’m holed up in my room away from everyone already, but does anyone know if that’s just the LFT text or whether it would be the PCR results?

I’ve not received another email or text saying specifically the PCR. Sorry I’m being a bit dim, I’m blaming how rough I feel!

Positive LFT and symptoms almost certainly means you have it. False positives are very rare. Hunker down - hope you get through it ok. Shouldn’t be too bad if you’ve been vaccinated.

Update- pcr came back positive. I’m double vacced, but wow I feel rough! I’m in isolation in my room to stop the rest or the household getting it hopefully! Fingers crossed it goes away soon!
