Covid back pain

Hi all any ideas to help with this please? It's so bad I can't sleep and I've taken my daily intake of paracetamol.
Tried deep heat - didn't work.
Wary of ibuprofen as it makes me sleepy.
It's literally only awful when I lie in bed. I don't usually have any back issues.

Codeine. Although ibuprofen making you sleepy is probably a good thing if you can't sleep.

Hmm maybe

Well if you can't sleep for the pain and ibuprofen makes you sleepy it seems like a good solution?
Codine makes me sleepy and although I have it on prescription I only take it at night if pain keeps me awake.

Sympathy. The back pain was awful. A hot water bottle helped me.
