I cannot get an appointment to get my vaccine!

I've applied twice online and called today for an appointment and told, I'll call you back in 15 mins with one! They never did...!

It's like I'm destined NOT to be vaccinated

Google walk in clinics then just rock up.

What's stopping you booking online? It's a pretty simple process.

So call them back. Or google walk in clinics.
Yes it probably is a bit harder now because most people are already vaccinated so there are less clinics but that’s just something you’ll have to deal with

You can go to any walk in clinic you don’t need an appointment.

Just go to a walk in clinic

Google your borough/area plus CCG walk ins. Where I live (London), there are walk in clinics that are not listed on the national site. Each ccg covers several boroughs.

The online booking site says it will contact you? And then doesn't? That's a new one on me.

Where are you? What booking site are you trying to use?

The booster roll out is an absolute shambles. No walk ins close to me and spent half an hour online last night trying to book into my local centre without success.

No idea where you have been trying to book that is going to call you back? Are you just calling your GP?

You can also call 119. They were very helpful when I called them (although it was last February!).

Are you trying to book using a GP booking system rather than the official government one?

The country wide one should sort you an appointment easily - I've never known it to say they'd call you about it.

Or try a walk in centre. Many places have them.

Yes. NHS Scotland!

I never said they'd call me. It says they will send a text, please allow up to 24 hours. It's the NHS SCOT INFORM, but they aren't getting in touch with an appointment.

No... I'm based in Scotland. This is for England, Wales etc. Scotland has a different system.

Once you have submitted your details, you'll receive a text or email confirming that you’ve registered successfully.
You’ll receive a second text or email with your appointment details. This is based on the availability of vaccine supplies and staff.
If you can’t make your allocated appointment you can rearrange your appointment.

But no one actually contacts me, no texts - nothing. I've applied 3 times now!!!

I called up and the guy said, I'll call you back in 15 mins. Never did.

I've just registered for my fourth time.

Apologies, I didn't realise that the systems were so different. I wasn't asking how to book... I was just saying how stressful I've found it.

The nearest one had a 3 hour wait list and im currently heavily pregnant.
