How long to get a positive test?

If your partner got covid first and then you ended up catching it from them, how long did it take for you to get a positive result? My dh has just got positive result, symptoms started Wednesday. Been isolating in a separate room since yesterday.Wondering how long it'll be before I'm in the clear or know whether I've got it too

Bumping for you as I would like to know! Exactly a week since my ds got it and I received negative pcr from Monday and still getting negative lateral flows so wondering if I’m actually going to manage to dodge it!

How old is your DS @Preg19? Are you able to isolate from him?
Dh is shut in the bedroom and I'm sleeping in the spare room but he was coughing all over me the night before he got a test so I'm assuming it's likely I will get it!

DP tested positive Friday on LFT (everyone else was negative LFT)
By Mondays PCR we were all positive.

Just got a positive LFT this evening so expecting my PCR to be positive too. So in my case, not long!

Yep, positive PCR. 😟 at least it didn't take long

DS tested positive on a Saturday. Isolated in his bedroom (his choice). I tested positive on the Monday. Isolated in our bedroom. DH tested positive on the Wednesday so four days after DS.

DP tested positive last Thursday. We stayed separate in different rooms and I tested positive this Thursday just passed. It's around a lot in my town though so not sure if I got it just from being in same house or if I picked it up elsewhere ultimately

FIL on the Wednesday, partner on Sunday, me on Thursday.
