Booster jab and NHS app ?

DGRossetti · 18/11/2021 10:43

Had booster jab Sunday.

Was told it would appear on app "within 24 hours".

Not appearing.

Anything to do ?

We have the cards they issued with date/time batch number and vaccine (Pfizer) brand.

Is anyone's on the app? I had mine over 3 weeks ago and it's not there. I read that the app isn't set up to include the booster- not helpful .
Maybe someone will sort it outHmm

mazylou · 18/11/2021 10:59

I had my booster on Sunday: just checked the app. Nothing showing to record it.

Wakemeuuuup · 18/11/2021 11:02

It's showing under my normal vaccinations, along with flu jabs etc. It's not in the covid passport section

Ilikewinter · 18/11/2021 11:04

Mine shows up on app but under the vaccinations section on the GP bit, not on the covid bit ...... if that makes sense!

Sonex · 18/11/2021 11:05

same here for me over 3 weeks ago - I dont believe it will/can show up in the covid art until they recode the app - not sure where that leaves us all for travel!

Roadtripconcept · 18/11/2021 11:15

Click on 'Your Health' at the bottom of the app .Click ' Your Covid 19 Vaccine Record '. It should be there .
Also if you click 'Your GP Health Record ' then immuninisations , it should show there .

Musicaltheatremum · 18/11/2021 11:16

Doesn't show on the Scottish app. Had mine ages ago

ColettesEarrings · 18/11/2021 11:17

Mine shows in both the Covid Vaccinations section and the GP Health Record Events and Consultations section, even though I had it at a vaccination centre not the GP surgery.

hotcrossedbums · 18/11/2021 11:22

It won't show on the 'passport' section because it's a booster, you only need e first 2 doses currently to be considered fully vaccinated and qualify for the app.

The third dose/booster will show on your normal vaccination records.

I know this as I input this data.

ColettesEarrings · 18/11/2021 11:26

@hotcrossedbums I don't have a 'normal vaccinations' section anywhere on my app (England) but it is showing in the Covid Vaccinations section I mention above. Does the app vary according to what GPSs activate on it?

Sonex · 18/11/2021 11:28

Mine shows in both the Covid Vaccinations section and the GP Health Record Events and Consultations section, even though I had it at a vaccination centre not the GP surgery.

We will soon need to evidence the booster surely as the initial 2 dose NHS covid pass expires at some point doesnt it? My second one was in April.

Sonex · 18/11/2021 11:30

mine also shows in those 2 places meant to say

Sonex · 18/11/2021 11:35

I just phoned 119 to ask when it would show up on the covid pass. Apparently they are "looking into it" but no timelines as "the booster hasnt been offered to many people yet" - only everbody over 40 which is approx 25 million people so that makes sense Hmm

Abraxan · 18/11/2021 11:36

Mine is in the app. I had the booster in Sunday.

On the app I have to click on:

view your go health record
medicines
acute (short term) medicines

It's then listed in there, along with my other medication and vaccines.

It isn't not listed under my 'covid-19 records' section (accessed via the nhs covid pass) option. My other two doses are, as are any lft/pcr results I've submitted. The booster dose isn't listed here for some reason.

Abraxan · 18/11/2021 11:38

It also shows in my app when I click the Your Health tab at the bottom, and then select Your Covid 19 Vaccine Record and Your GP Health Record (again under medicines, acute)

Cookerhood · 18/11/2021 11:42

You won't get a QR code for it yet, but it should be in the GP records section. Johnson said at the press conference this week that it would be updated in due course.

wonkylegs · 18/11/2021 11:46

Mine was a third jab rather than a booster (which I'll get in 6mths) and it shows up on my nhs app under Covid vaccinations

DGRossetti · 18/11/2021 11:47

Not showing in any endpoint I can reach on the app (I checked before posting).

I'll keep a photo of the card on my phone, just in case. Clearly the app isn't too trustworthy.

If it doesn't appear (& it seems to hide in all sorts of places within the GP records - sometimes in acute medicieines, sometimes in vaccinations, sometimes in both) go back to the place wjere you had it & make sure it was recorded correctly.

Cookerhood · 18/11/2021 11:51

A photo of the card won't help, other than for the centre to be able to trace your vaccination more esily (date, batch etc). It's not counted as proof, but you don't need proof of the booster yet.

oneglassandpuzzled · 18/11/2021 11:56

If you’re over 60 and travelling to France. not having the booster in the passport code form is going to make life difficult.

Abraxan · 18/11/2021 17:08

The GP records does require your surgery to have signed up to the sharing of information system. You may need to contact them to see if they have. Can you view any other health record information there?

bloodywhitecat · 18/11/2021 17:19

Mine is finally there, it wasn't when I checked about 5 days ago but prompted by this post I have just checked and it is now showing. My booster was on 16/10 so it has taken about a month to show up.

DGRossetti · 18/11/2021 17:23

Only other data I can see is prescriptions. But I've had such pisspoor experiences with the NHS (especially over bookings) I'll take that as a win any day.

With tiresome predictability, since posting this, the 3rd jab now shows up under "Check your Covid-19 vaccine record" Smile So at least that's up to date.

Apart from a slight dull ache for Monday, can't say either Mrs DGR or I noticed anything untoward after the jab.

As of this morning my booster now appears on the covid 19 records linked to my covid pass. It also shows on my travel pass - it's the first QR link.
